Absecon Inlet To Cape May 1880
An 1880 chart of the New Jersey shore from the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, covering the coast from Absecon Inlet at Atlantic City south to Cape May. The barrier islands and the marshes and bays behind them are drawn in fine detail along the left side of the sheet, with thousands of depth soundings across the Atlantic approaches and compass roses spaced through the open water. Tables on the sheet give the lighthouses, light vessels, tides, and life-saving stations along this stretch of coast. Coast Chart No. 123 was made for vessels working the approaches to Atlantic City and Cape May. Unearthed from the NOAA archives and restored by Coast & Horizon's cartographers, meticulously color-corrected. Printed on museum-quality matte paper, 250 gsm archival stock. Comes in 18x24, 24x32, and 30x40, with black, natural wood, or white frames.
