An 1880 chart of the New Jersey coast from Absecon Inlet to Cape May, issued by the US Coast and Geodetic Survey as Coast Chart No. 123. It covers the barrier islands and back bays from Atlantic City south to Cape May, with thousands of depth soundings offshore and compass roses across the sheet. The margin carries tables for lighthouses, light-vessels, tides, and life-saving stations along this stretch of coast. Charts like this were the working reference for vessels running the approaches to Atlantic City and Delaware Bay. This noir edition presents the chart in white on black. Unearthed from the NOAA archives and restored by Coast & Horizon's cartographers, meticulously color-corrected. Printed on museum-quality matte paper, 250 gsm archival stock. Comes in 18x24, 24x32, and 30x40, with black, natural wood, or white frames.
