A 1908 chart of Greenport, Orient, and Sag Harbor from Eldridge, covering the bays around Shelter Island on the eastern end of Long Island. Soundings are marked throughout the channels, along with buoys, anchorages, and dashed sailing lines with compass courses between the harbors. A single compass rose sits in open water east of Shelter Island, and tide notes for Greenport, Orient, and Sag Harbor appear in the margins. Eldridge sold these harbor charts for thirty cents to working boatmen, and the sheet is built for practical use. Unearthed from the archives and restored by Coast & Horizon's cartographers, meticulously color-corrected. Printed on museum-quality matte paper, 250 gsm archival stock. Comes in 18x24, with white, black, or natural wood frames.
