Nova Scotia 1857
An 1857 chart of Nova Scotia's southeast coast from the Hydrographic Bureau, covering the shore from Pope Harbour to Liscomb Harbour. It shows Sheet Harbour, Beaver Harbour, Mushaboom Harbour, and Mary-Joseph Harbour, with soundings in fathoms marked across the approaches and two compass roses on the sheet. Along the edges are small profile views of the coast, including the entrance to Liscomb Harbour and the Beaver Island lighthouse. The survey was led by Captain Bayfield for ships working this stretch of the Atlantic coast. Unearthed from the NOAA archives and restored by Coast & Horizon's cartographers, meticulously color-corrected. Printed on museum-quality matte paper, 250 gsm archival stock. Comes in 12x18, 18x24, 24x36, and 28x40, with white, black, or natural wood frames.
