Coast and Horizon’s limited edition issue of ‘Pillsbury Sound’ explores the waters of the Virgin Islands as they were in 1941. Originally produced by the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey, this bathymetric chart served as the essential guide shepherding mariners of all types through the complex waters of Pillsbury Sound. Meticulously restored by C&H in-house cartographers from a massive 47 x 64 inch scan raised from deep in the NOAA’s archives, this reproduction maintains the lush detail of the original chart to deliver a stunning visual statement.
